Moms And Daughters

It was a Mother/Daughter Bear Lake retreat!  Kori and 3 of her besties brought their moms up for a couple of days, and we had a ball!  Besides Kori and me, we had Autumn and Cindy Shakespear, Cami and Cherene Sorensen, and Kierstin and Shannon Hougaard.  Our first adventure was Minnetonka Cave!  We also ate lunch and shopped a little bit at the North Beach shops.  Sadly the Shakespears weren't able to come up for this part.

After the cave, Autumn and Cindy met us at Cafe Sabor for dinner, and then it was time for Juanito Bandito at Pickleville!  Such fun!  I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.  We can't wait to go again!
The Moms.

The Girls, with the most Guapo villain in the west!  Do not underestimate his awesomeness!

The next day was beach day!  We paddle boarded, played in the water, ate lots of snacks, hung out at the beach, and got our Vitamin D.  Later after lunch, we played some fun games before everyone had to go home.

Love these beauties.  And the rest of their friend group.  I am eternally grateful that Kori is part of such an incredible group of girls!

Did I just say Beauties?  Ha ha!

Cherene you look good on that board!

Just chillin' at the beach!

Kori was sad cause she had to head back early to go to work.  Darn work schedules!  But we're glad we were able to make at least this much time happen.  Thanks, Cherene for planning a super fun couple of days!  Thanks everyone for coming!  Reunion in 18 months!!

Happy Independence Day!

Here's how things stacked up here at the lake on July 4th:
Gorgeous day, lots of people!

Parking on the beach?  What?  After last year's new law making it illegal to park on the beach?  We're not sure this is okay, Garden City, especially when you're charging.  Let's just go back to letting everyone park on the beach all the time!

Although we didn't have much of a breeze, we were anxious to get Taylor Swift on the water!  It was the first time Clint and I had tried sailing.  Loved it!

I took selfies in the boat while I watched Wes and Clint out there, ha ha!

Clint and I went home Friday evening because we didn't want to miss our annual neighborhood party, which never disappoints!  So much fun!  Saturday the rest of the family came up for an afternoon of boating.  We also took up our new dining tables!  I came across these by accident and picked them up for a steal.  I knew they'd be perfect to add more table space to our dining room.  We love them!
