Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to Padre Man and Colton! We spent the weekend at the lake with everyone. It was still a little chilly to get the boat out, so we played around the cabin, played in the sand, went for walks, had church together on Sunday, and presents. We are grateful for these fantastic dads!

Weekend With The Girlies

When Colton asked if the girls could have a sleepover, we responded "how about a whole weekend at the lake?" They were so excited and so were we. Friday night we had pizza movie night, a fire with rainbow colors and s'mores, and a late walk to see the fireflies. Ivy wanted to snuggle them. :) Saturday was stormy most of the day. We had enough of a break in the rain to go fishing though. Pop Pop had fun teaching the girls how to fish, and Olivia even reeled one in! We spent the afternoon doing makeovers, watching a movie, playing games, and working on a craft. The girls enjoyed their fish tacos for dinner. Sunday we had our home church service and headed back to Smithfield where Colton and Karlee and Aubrey met us for Sunday dinner. It was a delightful weekend, maybe a bit much for the girls to be away from mom and dad, but they were so good and had so much fun.
