Holiday Skiing

We got away for a couple of days right after Christmas.  Don't let the sunshine deceive you, it was coooooold!!  The first day, it was way too cold and windy to even go out, but today was sunny, if still cold.  We had a fun ski down to the lake and around the houses.  On our way home, it was minus 9 in the canyon!  Whoa.

Turkey Lurkey Time

We spent a fun Thanksgiving day at the lake!  I went up Wednesday by myself to cook all day.  The sun was shining and it was glorious!  Look at them pies!

Later in the day, I went out for a walk.  I was so focused on this beautiful deer at the top of the lane...

...that I didn't even notice these guys staring at me!

Wes and Clint came on Wednesday evening, Karlton and Aunt Michelle followed up on Thursday.  We got to talk to Kori for about an hour!  That was great!  We enjoyed turkey and all the trimmings followed by some games and a movie.  Everyone went home on Friday.  A very enjoyable holiday, and we'll do it at the lake again!
